2. Tiago Bravo’s Biography
Tiago Bravo is a top featherweight BJJ grappler. He is famous for his outstanding skills on the mats, he procured this reputation by achieving medals in the top tournaments including the Abu Dhabi World Pro Championship, the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, and the Brazilian No-Gi Nationals. Bravo was trained under Muzio de Angelis, who promoted him to black belt. Now he is a 4th Degree BJJ Black Belt and working as a professional BJJ coach in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
2.1. Tiago Bravo’s Early Life
Tiago Bravo was born on 30 September 1986, in Petropolis Brazil. From early childhood, Bravo developed an interest in the action movies of Claude Van Damme that created the urge to imitate the skills. In this way, he took a keen interest part in martial arts. Bravo was persuaded to karate when he was 10. Bravo's parents wanted him to work on the skills of self-defense so he entered the field of jiu-jitsu.
2.2. Tiago Bravo’s BJJ Training
José Roberto gave the guidance of jiu-jitsu and promoted the young fighter to the level of orange belt. When Tiago Bravo was about to reach the blue belt he went to the well-known coach Adalberto de Souza, who was popular with the name “Buda” (Buddha in Portuguese).
2.3. Tiago Bravo’s Black Belt Promotion
Tiago Bravo was passionate and intended to evolve his grappling skills. He began training in Judo and reached the grade of purple belt. Buda promoted Bravo to the brown belt, and then he switched to the previous academy and joined Brasa Clube de Jiu Jitsu where Muzio de Angelis gave him training. On the 19 th of December 2009, Bravo was promoted to black belt.

The BJJ black belt fighter is known for his amazing grappling skills. Bravo gained prestige through the medals which he got in numerous tournaments. A few of them include the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, the Abu Dhabi World Pro Championship, and the Brazilian No-Gi Nationals.

Tiago Bravo is the Dynamic Grappler of today, he has achieved top ranks in his grappling journey. This has been done by his remarkable performance against the great BJJ fighters. 3.1. Tiago Bravo vs Mosquito
In 2014, at Abu Dhabi Cup a competition occurred between Tiago Bravo and Mosquito. Both grapplers used impressive techniques to drag the other on the mat. Bravo dropped down the opponent and succeeded in holding him by using the technique of rear mount back, letting the Mosquito not escape. Tiago Bravo won the match by choke.
