Royler Gracie Joins the ADCC Hall of Fame

The third Gracie family member to be inducted into the ADCC Hall of Fame after Roger and Kyra Gracie, Royler Gracie has also left no doubt in the minds of all submission wrestling fans that the renowned family dominated this generation as well.

As per @adcc_official:

“Royler was the first person in ADCC to ever win a division 3X in a row. He was the first ADCC 66 KG superstar.”

Winning the ADCC World Championships in 1999, 2000 and 2001, in the -65 KG division, Royler Gracie has proved the effectiveness of Gracie Jiu Jitsu in not just No-Gi submission wrestling such as the ADCC but also in Gi BJJ Pan American Championships in 1997 and 1999 as well as the World Jiu Jitsu Championships in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999.

Co-author to several instructional books such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: Theory and Practice alongside his cousin Renzo Gracie, Royler Gracie stands alongside his brothers, Royce and Rickson Gracie with his own place as the son of the grandmaster Helio Gracie, undoubtedly taking the sport as well as the martial art further up in the world.
