Return of the Gracie to UFC 288

UFC confirmed the speculated news that UFC 288 will be held in May at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. UFC also confirmed the appearance of Kron Gracie (5-1) after more than a decade of pause in his MMA career.

His last match was in UFC Fight Night 161 held in 2019, which seems like ages ago. After Immense success in the BJJ, Kron Gracie ventured into his MMA career in 2014. He used to compete under the Japanese Rizin Fighting Federation and then transitioned into UFC.

The son of UFC legend Rikson Gracie and the nephew of UFC founder Rorion Gracie, will face Canadian fighter Charles Jordain (13-6-1) under the featherweight category.

Kron lost his first match in 2019 and never appeared in any MMA fight till UFC 288. He submitted all of his opponents.
