During the entire fight, Khamzat showcased his excellent grappling skills and took down the Usman multiple times. Khamzat controlled his opponent from the top position and was identified as the winner of the first match phase. Usman tried hard to resist but Khamzat secured the winning title based on a unanimous decision. Khamzat also secured the pair of 29-28 scores in the fight. So ultimately Khamzat earned his BJJ brown belt. Khmzat’s main coach, Alan ‘Finfou’ Nascimento shared his views on how Khamzat performed exceptionally against various veteran Jiu-Jitsu black belts. Alan also praised him by saying that Khamzat deserved more recognition and fame. Now, Khamzat has secured his place against the top successful UFC middleweight fighter Sean Stricklan.
