Chimaev Calls Out Daniel Cormier, Brock Lesnar and GSP

The “Borz” Twitter handle hasn’t stopped posting and tagging top-level fighters, calling them out for fights as Khamzat Chimaev yearns for another bout in the ring with a top contender.

Having scored his 10th consecutive win over Li Jingliang in the third minute, Khamzat has been on a roll calling out fighters on social media such as Daniel Cormier with this post:

Daniel Cormier replied an hour later, telling Khamzat that he was perhaps going over his head.

Just 8 minutes after calling out Cormier, Khamzat also called out GSP and Brock Lesnar, even though both these legends have retired and a match is impossible to take place.

Although Khamzat called out Colby Covington, the No. 2 ranked welterweight who just lost via decision to reigning champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 268, Colby accepted the challenge but criticized the media for hyping Khamzat up.

Colby said that Khamzat needs to beat someone in the top 5 at least and that he barely has 4 UFC fights, which is why the media should be careful because ‘this is fighting.. People can get seriously hurt from rushing people like that.”

Khamzat Chimaev stands with a record of 10-0, having made his UFC debut in July 2020, spending a year off due to COVID-19 and then defeating Li Jingliang in 3 minutes on Oct 30, 2021.
