UFC Legend Stipe Miocic Says Goodbye to MMA After Losing to Jon Jones

Stipe Miocic has ended his legendary career after a defeat against Jon Jones. Jon Jones continued his winning streak and kept the UFC title. Stipe had a legendary career but failed to end it on a high note and lost in his final match.

The match was played on 17 ^th November, with the arena full of 20,000 spectators. Many notable actors, musicians, and political figures were present to see his last match.

Jones was continuously putting pressure on Stipe from the start. Miocic lost the first round but tried to regain the lost rhythm, but Jones did not give him any chance and remained dominant throughout the match.

In the last round, Jones kicked Stipe on his back, which caused the latter to sit for a while. But Jones continued his devastating attacks on Jones. Eventually, the referee stopped the fight, with Jones defending his heavyweight title. The doctor said the kick was very painful for Stipe, which caused him to lose the match against Jones.

It was a historic match as Donald Trump and many notable personalities were in the arena. Donal Trump came with his two cabinet members. Besides Trump, Elon Musk and Saudi Arabia’s PIF leader Yasir Al-Rumayyan also came to watch Stipe Miocic playing the last match of his legendary career. Stipe Miocic is a legendary mixed martial artist with many records in heavyweight UFC division. He has won UFC heavyweight titles two times. Currently, he stands at 8 in the official UFC rankings of the heavyweight division. He has the highest number of wins in UFC title matches. He also holds the record for nine fight night bonuses. Many of his competitors believe him to be the UFC heavyweight division's greatest of all time (GOAT). He also holds the record for defending the title for the highest number of days. 

Before starting his mixed martial arts career, he was a champion of boxing golden gloves. He was also a wrestler in the NCAA division. He began his career late in his age but made many records in his legendary career.

Currently, Jon Jones holds the UFC heavyweight title. He successfully defended the title against Stipe on Saturday. Jon claimed the title in 2023, winning the match against Ciryl Gane. Since getting the heavyweight title in March 2023, he played his first match against Stipe to defend the title. He is also a winner of two UFC heavyweight championships.

Stipe lost the belt in March 2021 against Francis Ngannou. He had a chance to get the belt again on Saturday, but he lost that chance, too.
