The only fight in the MMA that is probably never going to happen but will continue to make headlines is the one between Jake Paul and the UFC President, Dana White.
Both the promoters have been at it for months on end, exchanging allegations, patronization, and now, challenges.
Quite recently, Jake Paul managed to knock out the former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in their rematch, taking Jake’s total fights to 5 with him winning them all. After the fight, Jake talked to the press and asked Dana White to, ‘please let me fight Kumaru Usman, Jorge Masvidal or Nate Diaz’ because he wants to ‘embarrass the UFC’
Dana White, though always expressing his disdain towards discussions about Jake Paul, fired back at Jake’s challenge by proposing one of his own.
“No (scenario I’d let Diaz or Masvidal box Paul while under UFC contract),” White said. “You notice how he wants to fight f*cking everybody that’s not in his weight class, guys that are older and all this bullsh*t. Go fight a boxer. Go hump somebody else’s leg, you goofball.”
In the last few years, Jake and Logan Paul had made many statements about Dana White being addicted to cocaine and having a problem. Dana White finally addressed the allegation and presented Jake Paul with an interesting opportunity,
“I got a challenge for Jake Paul,” White said. “This guy keeps saying that I’m a cokehead. He can randomly cocaine test me for the next 10 years if I can randomly steroid test him for the next two,” White said.
The steroid allegation at Jake Paul isn’t the first and probably not the last as his previous opponents have also raised similar concerns regarding Jake not agreeing or showing up for testing.
Although Jake has never let any of Dana’s statements regarding him go unresponded, the Youtuber-turned-boxer recently announced taking months off his career, leaving all to wonder whether he’ll keep the fight between him and the UFC president going.
