3. Ashton Teaches Jimmy a Simple BJJ Sweep

On Jimmy’s request, Ashton showed him some BJJ moves. While both are standing straight, Jimmy pushes Ashton to the ground and then jumps over him. Ashton, in response, quickly grabs Jimmy’s back with both legs wrapped across his back.


Keeping his control, Ashton sweeps Jimmy, throwing him to the ground, and gets on top of him, getting complete control.


After this, Ashton reverses the roles with Jimmy and asks him to do the same with him and instructs him to take the steps in the following order: wrap your legs around the back, drop one knee inside and the other on the ground, grab my (Ashton’s) hands, do a scissor kick, and that’s it.

Christopher Ashton Kutcher is a famous American actor who has got many awards throughout his career, including People’s Choice and Teen Choice awards. Despite getting success in his acting career, Ashton is also a very good Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) grappler. He trains BJJ under the legendary coach and grappler Rigan Machado.


Ashton has made his name among other famous Hollywood actors who train in BJJ, such as Henry Cavill, Jason Statham, Keanu Reeves, Demi Lovato, Guy Ritchie, Tom Hardy, and Batista. But unlike many other celebrities, Ashton took BJJ training very seriously, and he has been doing it for 15 years under the same coach. He is now a black belt in the art.
