Biography

She started training 4 years in her college in Brazil, before her starting to train jiu-jitsu she trained judo and taekwondo, She is totally in love with martial arts and since when she started jiu-jitsu she knew it was that life that she wanted, She came to the US behind her dreams, to be able to train in a great school and to be able to compete for the best championships, She lives jiu-jitsu.

Question: What inspires you about BJJ? MMA?

Answer: Be a world champion in all belts, be the 1 in IBJJF rank, champion in Abu Dabhi pro, learn more every day and overcome my limits.

Question: What are your goals for this year? Next 3 years? Next 5 years?

Answer: 1 place in American Nationals, Boston Summer Open, New York summer Open, Pan no gi, BJJ pro-New York, Chicago summer open, Washington DC open, Los Angeles BJJ PRO, Dallas fall open, Worlds no-gi. In the future, my goals are champion in Worlds, Pan Ams, European, Brazilian Nationals, American Nationals, and Abu Dabhi PRO

Answer: Bowl and arrow choke

Question: What separates you from every other fighter in your division?

Answer: Strong nerves and commitment to win

Question: How long have you been training? 4 years

Answer:4 years

Question: Who inspires you, past or present?

Answer: Why do they inspire you? My teacher Rafael Formiga, my husband and teacher Felipe Simplicio, my training partner Jessica Swan, a big names like Mendes Bros, Leandro Lo, Rodolfo Vieira, Mackenzie Dern, Beatriz Mesquita. My teammates are always trying to help me a be better, and I love to watch then roll because is beautiful and they have a lot of technique.

Question: How often do you train?

Answer: Everyday

Question: Any major accomplishments you’ve been able to achieve in that time?

Answer: 1 place BJJ TOUR CT 2017

Question: Which moment is memorable for you in your past competitions?

Answer: My first fight, I was a lil bit confused at that moment but I control my nerves and dominate my competitor

Question: What do you think it takes to be a champion in your sports?

Answer: Training hard every day, do drills, take the training and diet seriously, be the focus, dedication, strong mind, never give up l, sleep well.

Question: What sort of gear do you usually keep in your gym bag before hitting the gym? Do you have different items for specific days?

Answer: My Gi and Belt, Rash Guards, Shorts for training, knee brace and tapes.
