I’m Italo Lima Costa I’m 24 years old and I come from a small town in northeast of Brazil. I start Jiu-Jitsu when I was 14 years old because my friend became worlds champion CBJJE in a white belt and I think it’s really amazing if he became world champion I wanna training and will try became too. Question:: What will you suggest to the newcomers?

Answer: My suggestion is starting training slow and try understand the mechanic of jiu-jitsu.

Question: What does it mean to be a fighter?

Answer:? Means a lot because I can be self-confident day in and day out knowing that I am prepared for any unexpected action from another person and also have the discipline to help those who need it on a daily basis as well as keep my body healthy due to constant practice of exercises.

Question What are essential things for training?

Answer:A appropriate Gi and belt and for sure a clean mind.

Question: What seperate you form every other fighter in your division?

Answer:I think my flexibility and my way to do fighter using high technics.

Question: What is the meaninhg of success in your mind?

Answer:Success for me it’s you can help people around you and help himself, it’s not just about win or loss it’s about you life and friends and family.

Question: With whom you would like to fight?

Answer:I don’t have anyone in mind, but I would like to fight against the top 3 guys in my class always because I want be the best one so I need beat the best guys.

Question: Is there any difference b/w your common days diet and during compe trining diet?

Answer:Not a lot because I like compete in low the limit weight so sometimes, I’ve eat all of everything, but every day I try eat good food for have a good training.

Question: Is martial art necessary for a common person?

Answer: it certainly gives you self-confidence on a daily basis and promotes a much healthier quality of life.

Question: How does a beginner will prepare for the competition? Any advice for beginners?

Answer:The ideal preparation is to repeat a lot the initial drills train a lot a game so to leave it solid this is the most important for a beginner to prepare for his first competition. my advice is to train only the basics and not wanting to advance very much the steps.

Question: What should we learn from the legends /or from the seniors? Who is your inspiration?

Answer:is incredible because we see there that we can be like them if we demolish the examples of people who are, my inspiration are my teachers Samir Chanter and Osvaldo Queixinho not only on the mat but also in life because they are two incredible people.

Question: How is it helpful to have the information about your competitor?

Answer: I like to watch some of their fights before they fight me.

Question: How Martial arts helps to build leaders?

Answer: as I said before it provides an ability for you to generate self confidence and also you create the abito of being in constant evolution in search of solutions to the adversities of everyday life.

Question: Who is your favorite legendary fighter? Why?

Answer:Rodolfo Vieira by his way of fighting with all the great athletes, he always goes forward to finish.

Question: How much importance has the sports gear in any competition?

Answer: It’s important because if you have comfort in your gear you can fight better.
