Jasmine Rocha is one of the strongest female grapplers and black belt in Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu. She is the daughter of Vagner Rocha, a famous grappling instructor and representative of the Fight sports team in Miami and the Vagner Rocha Martial Arts Association.
2.1. Jasmine Rocha’s Early Life Phase
Jasmine Rocha was born on 3 January 2002 in the United States. As she was the daughter of a top martial artist, she had an innate interest in the field of jiu-jitsu. Rocha started her BJJ career at the age of 5.
2.2. Jasmine’s Initial Jiu-Jitsu Training
Although Vagner Rocha provided BJJ training to Jasmine Rocha at his own Vagner Rocha Martial Arts Academy she was also trained at the squad’s headquarters. She learned advanced martial arts skills under the supervision of Robertu Abreu, Maggie Grindatti, and Adrian Benavides.
2.3. Jasmine joined her School’s wrestling team
Jasmine Rocha wanted to expand her grappling skills more to become a pro-BJJ fighter so she joined her school’s wrestling team. She was trained there for 1 year.

In September 2022 after extensive hard work, Jasmine Rocha earned the black belt under her father Vagner Rocha.

Rocha also secured victory in the IBJJF Pan Championship NOGI and Fight 2 Win and marked her presence in BJJ as a top-notch female BJJ fighter and well-rounded grappler.
