Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a sport that continuously attracts both young, adult, and older people from across the world. People start training for a number of reasons, with three main reasons being taking it as a career, getting mental and physical benefits, or just for self defense.


Recently, news surprised the BJJ fans and viewers all over the world that a Swindon sensation has won the silver at a BJJ tournament. But the surprising thing is that it was a world Brazilian Jiu Jitsu championship. It was not a national or ordinary tournament. He is just 15 and is successfully making his name among the big names in the martial arts.


Roman belongs to Swindon, which is a town in the United Kingdom. The first time he trained in the art was because of his father. That took his interest into the art, and he started investing a lot of day and night efforts into it just to make himself better at it.


This passion, a lot of hard work, and training helped him earn many medals in the BJJ tournaments. This is not the first medal that he has won. Previously, he has won many other big medals in tournaments like the Reading Open and Welsh Open.


Roman, when asked about his journey in the championships and being just the 15 years old silver medal winner at the world stage, said that he wanted to get gold, but unfortunately, he could not, which happens in the game.


Moreover, Roman talked about the various benefits he got from the game. He said that the art of Jiu Jitsu helps you to make your mind sharp, gives you friends, tells you what you can do, and a sense of hard work.


Currently, he trains in Gracie Swindon Jiu-Jitsu which is Swindon, UK. His trainer was very happy with his performance and also applauded him for his wonderful performance in the tournament.
