Biography

She is a female MMA Fighter with a record of 5-3. She has been training for about 4 years now. She originally started doing a cardio kickboxing class with her dad and one of the guys there and now one of her best friends and cornerman, Dylan Kowalski, told her that She should go over to train with his coach Oscar Olivares at MMA Underground in Crystal Lake, IL. She moved to Florida after almost 4 years at that gym down to Florida and train at American Top Team Tampa under Rafael Garcia. She has no particular style and whether a fight stays standing or goes to the ground, she is ready for anything. She plans on going pro sometime in 2018. her next fight will be Feb 16, 2018 in an 8-woman tournament for a pro contract with Invicta!

Question: What inspires you about BJJ? MMA?

Answer: I absolutely love the fact that it isn’t just you against your opponent but rather you against yourself. It is very much mind over matter when it comes to cutting weight or even during a fight camp. And even more so when you step foot in the cage. When it comes down to it, you are your worst enemy. So, I love the challenge!

Question: Who inspires you, past or present? Why do they inspire you?

Answer: My coaches and training partners all have inspired me in one way or another. What we do and how we train is not easy. The fact that my coaches and training partners are there in the gym everyday regardless of how busy or how tired is what inspires me. There are people out there worse off then me, and still make no excuses!

Question: What are your goals for this year? Next 3 years? Next 5 years?

Answer: In the next 3-5 yrs I would love to be fighting in Invicta or Bellator.

Question: How long have you been training?

Answer: For 4 Years.

Question: How is it helpful to have the information about your competitor?

Answer: It help to point out the competitors weakness which will benefits you in a win.

Question: Any major accomplishments you’ve been able to achieve in that time?

Answer: I have received 7 medals in different grappling competitions as well as won a NAGA belt in the expert division.

Question: What do you think it takes to be a champion in your sports?

Answer: MENTAL STRENGTH AND DEDICATION!!

Question: How often do you train?

Answer: I train 5 days a week, 4 hrs a day in MMA and train 6 days out of the week outside of that in just a local gym lifting weights or taking different fitness classes. I also try to run about 5 miles a day.

Question: What sort of gear do you usually keep in your gym bag before hitting the gym? Do you have different items for specific days?

Answer: The items that I always have are boxing gloves shin guards, MMA gloves and mouthguard, because you always have to be ready to spar LOL. Most of the time I will have other items like deodorant, body spray, gear cleaner, extra clothes and my training mask if I will be running.
