Biography

I've been training jiu-jitsu for about two and a half years now. I love learning self-defense because it's been so humbling and taught me a tremendous amount of confidence.

Question: What inspires you about BJJ? MMA?

Answer: BJJ inspires me because it is difficult. Nothing comes easy, nothing is given to you and you have to work really hard to be successful!

Question: Who inspires you, past or present? Why do they inspire you?

Answer: . Jiu-jitsu inspires me every day because it teaches you about team work friendship and family. Your training partners and coaches become a huge part of your life and watching them achieve incredible things inspires me to go chase my dreams.Ilima lea McFarlane & Katherine Shen inspire me because of how dedicated they are. Every day they show up relentlessly regardless of if their hurt or tired. They go out there and train hard and put on an amazing show every event.

Question: What are your goals for this year? Next 3 years? Next 5 years?

Answer: My goal for this year is to win Gracie Worlds. 3 years, revive my brown belt. 5 years win ADCC absolute world black belt title.

Question: How long have you been training?

Answer: . I've been training two and a half years.

Question: How often do you train?

Answer: I train at least twice a day 5 day a week.

Question: Any major accomplishments you’ve been able to achieve in that time?

Answer: A major accomplishment was winning my first MMA fight in May.

Question: Do you have a go-to finishing move?

Answer: . I don't have 1 go to move but my go to style is wrestling.

Question: What do you think it takes to be a champion in your sports?

Answer: To become a champion It takes dedication and heart. You have to be touch and strong willed. As well as talented and driven.

Question: What sort of gear do you usually keep in your gym bag before hitting the gym? Do you have different items for specific days?

Answer: I keep training gear for full MMA, and two extra pairs of clothes, and carry a towel.
