Jose "El Conqúistador" Leon
His earliest stories comes from when he was 3 years old. He was born in Mexico and back then they only had 3 TV channels. One of the channels always played chuck Norris, jean Claude Vandamme and Sylvester Stallone movies. He would go around with a cloth tied around his head saying he was a ninja, or that he was Rambo. When he was 5 he moved to U.S.A and at 7 years old he found his first Kung Fu school. He studied martial arts until he was 10 or 11.
And he dropped out as a brown belt. He got into a lot of trouble since he didn’t have martial arts to keep him busy anymore and his mother was never home due to working 2 jobs. He started hanging out with gangs and getting into street fights. He lost every street fight he was ever in. At 14 he landed himself in jail due to fighting and getting arrested with the gangs. When he was in jail his girlfriend called him to tell she was pregnant. At 14 years old you don’t know what to do in that situation. You just want to be young and hang out with buddies. But since his father abandoned his mother and his little siblings, He knew he couldn’t abandon his little baby. So, He manned up and changed his life.
He left his friends and old habits and started working full time jobs. He continued his high-school to graduate and when he was 15 he broke up with his girlfriend and he was really depressed, his probation officer enrolled him in kick-boxing lessons to keep him busy and he fell in love. He started training 3 hours a day and soon he started fighting in the ring. He also competed in Jiu Jitsu and he won many tournaments.
At 20, he started MMA because he felt boxing was a waste of time since he didn't train boxing every day. He was too good at Jiu Jitsu not to be using it in his fights. He is now 23 years old, his daughter is 7. As an amateur his record is 5-3 due to his fighting the best competition in his area at any weight they want. He will be professional MMA fighter in February of 2018. And he will be going pro as a 5x MMA champion. When he goes pro. He will only be fighting at 125 lbs.
