Damon "Lilman " Minor
He started training wrestling because he wanted to fight MMA one day. He saw this wrestler on a video game UFC undisputed 2009 named Sean Sherk and wanted to fight like him. He wrestled 4 years in high school and 2 years in college.
He has always been a fan of boxing and Brazilian jiu jitsu and he just recently found love for the sport of Muay Thai. He had an amateur record of 12-1 and was the number 1 ranked amateur lightweight on the east coast.

Question: What inspires you about BJJ? MMA?
Answer: I love the creativity, the motion, the momentum, and the dominance of a great fighter.
Question: Who inspires you, past or present? Why do they inspire you?
Answer: Many fighters and many things. Anybody who has the courage to stand and move forward with weight on their shoulders and people or circumstances trying to pull them back.
Question: What are your goals for this year? Next 3 years? Next 5 years?
Answer: To fight to the top of the division in the UFC. To earn recognition in the sport and art of Brazilian jiu jitsu and to get back into school for my psychology major
Question: How long have you been training?
Answer: Wrestling for 8 years fighting for 2 1/2 years
Question: How often do you train?
Answer: Twice a day almost everyday
Question: Any major accomplishments you’ve been able to achieve in that time?
Answer: Fighter of the year and multiple time amateur Mma champion
Question: Do you have a go-to finishing move?
Answer: The kill
Question: What do you think it takes to be a champion in your sports?
Answer: To be able to do the same thing over and over. Dedication and consistency in your work
Question: What sort of gear do you usually keep in your gym bag before hitting the gym? Do you have different items for specific days?
Answer: Mostly trunks to work in and maybe spar gear if it's Muay Thai or my GI
