Lexus "THE SILKY" Randle
Lexus Randle is a 20 years old Blue Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner nicknamed "Silky". She has been a practitioner of martial arts for 11 years, currently training under the hill brothers (Ron and James hill) in Joliet Illinois. Lexus has a full-time job, is a coach for children and trains on average 5-6 times a week. She has competed in places like Moscow, Russia Panama City, Panama and other places around the USA. Lexus's first time on a USA national team came about when she was only 16 years old! She's accomplished a good amount but excited to accomplish a lot more with Elite Sports!

Question: What inspires you?
Answer: The kids I coach, my parents, training partners and my coaches. Without them, I wouldn't be anywhere close to where I am today when I didn't believe in myself they did. All of them have become family and a really large part of me. I do what I do for them. To make them proud. When I am older I want my future children and nephew to know their aunt/ Mom was a beast!
Question: Goal for this year?
Answer: My goal is so to grow as a martial artist, person, and to whoop butt all over the world! Also to receive my purple belt in BJJ. My list is taller than me but I am ready to tackle this year!
Question: Next three years?
Answer: Over the next three years I want to remain humble and remain level headed. I want to continue to grow and teach the arts to as many people as possible.

Answer: About 11 years.
Question: How often do you train?
Answer: 5-6 times a week.

Answer: Yes, clock choke from rear mound, or seatbelt control, any variation.
Question: What sort of gear do you usually keep in your gym bag before hitting the gym?
Answer: Gear I normally keep : shaker bottle, pre workout, black shirt, No Gi shorts, wrestling shoes, athletic tape, gym shoes, protein, and a change of clean clothes.
Question: What does it take to be a champion in your sport?
Answer: A good team, support system, will power, confidence, and commitment. You need to constantly evolve and adapt your game or else you will not achieve your goals. People constantly become too comfortable with where they are to the point where they lose where they are. Never let yourself become comfortable.
