Q: Why do I have to have a coaches recommendation to attend the King Kamehameha Classic?
A: Quite simply, Elite Sports wants to make certain enrolled athletes are competitive in their sport, and of good character.
Q: Is there a payment plan or do I have to pay the full amount up front?
A: When you sign-up, a $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot on the team. After your initial $300 deposit is made, there are payment plans available for your remaining balance of $2475. Your final payment is due on April 1, 2010.
Q: Are there scholarships or fundraising assistance available?
A: Elite Sports is not directly involved with scholarships or fundraising. However, most of our athletes do some type of fundraising on their own to help offset the cost of travel. For complete fundraising information click here.
Q: Can parents and/or other relatives go?A: Absolutely. The cost is the same as the cost for the athlete, which includes airfare, hotel (based on double occupancy), transportation, game admission, and all team activities. The only thing you won’t get to do is participate in the game. The 3rd and 4th members of your group that share the same room will receive a $500 discount per person.
